Suzan Roth represents privately held and institutional owners, developers, investors and tenants in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions and related matters. She has been involved with transactions in a wide array of industries, including retail, medical, office, industrial and residential development.

Suzan has extensive experience with contract negotiation and land assemblages for retail and mixed-use development, drafting and negotiating complex cross easement, operating and restriction documents, lease negotiations, outparcel development and sales, dispositions, construction, semi-permanent and permanent financing, loan and distressed property workouts, and partnership, joint venture and entity formation. Her practice includes representation of residential subdivision developers with tract acquisition and development matters, and small business and restaurant owners with leasing and related matters as well as business acquisitions and sales.

Prior to law school, Suzan gained significant business experience in the underwriting, closing and supervision of a portfolio of mortgage backed securities. While attending law school, Suzan worked full time on leasing and property management matters for IRT Property Company, a NYSE-traded real estate investment trust, now a part of Regency Centers.

Following law school, Suzan began practicing at Scoggins & Goodman, P.C., a boutique law firm specializing in commercial real estate. After the closing of Scoggins & Goodman, P.C., Suzan opened the Atlanta office of LevickRoth.

Suzan received her J.D. degree, cum laude, from Georgia State University in 1993 and was a member of the law review.

Suzan received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics and Business Administration from Vanderbilt University.
